The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) has successfully conducted the EAMCET Exam for many years. Telangana State EAMCET Exam is the 1st Engineering Agricultural & Medical Common Entrance Test after the formation of Telangana State.

Telangana State Council of Higher Education
Telangana Government establishes TSCHE. It is also known as Telangana State Council of Higher Education. It is a Board of Education for public and private school under the State Government. Telangana State Council of Higher Education forms in the year 2014. The board controls & maintains all the necessary secondary education in the state of Telangana. Under this board, various courses offered to students for different occupations and to prepare the students for university.
Telangana State Council of Higher Education forms with the seven universities after the division of Telangana and the Andhra Pradesh States. The board conducts final examinations in every spring for the Higher Secondary Examination, High School Certificate Examinations & Examinations of other courses prescribed by the board for Class 10. TSCHE Telangana conducts various entrance tests namely EAMCET, ICET, EdCET, ECET, PGECET for the candidates residing in the Telangana State.
Courses Offered for EAMCET Exam
EAMCET is an entrance examination required for the admission to some Engineering and Medical colleges in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, India. Many colleges in both states offering Graduation Courses like B.E, B. Tech, BDS, B.Pharm., BSc., Pharm.D. etc. require qualification in this exam. Presently the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) conducts the TS EAMCET examination. The results are declared over 13 to 14 days.

The rank which is based on 75% of EAMCET marks and 25% of Intermediate marks (ICSE, CBSE or INTERMEDIATE). Around 311,355 students in Engineering and 65,357 students in Medicine appeared in EAMCET.
